SWIMMING COACH PREPARATORY COURSE (YEAR 2021)

FLEXIBLE HOURS

Teaching swimming is usually a casual job which means that you aren’t bound to any permanent hours. This will allow you to have the flexibility which can be particularly helpful if you want to keep in touch with your family or friends, or you need to work your timetable around other commitments.

WORKING WITH CHILDREN

If you enjoy working with children then this is definitely the job for you, children are honest, creative, and are full of energy. They will keep you on your toes and more often than not be quite knowledgeable.

COURSE FEES FOR YEAR 2021 MARCH AND ONWARDS

Fees to be increased from $1400 to $1600 effective by Mar 2021, please book with us now to lock down the rate.

1 to 4 weeks
(6 Sessions x 45 minutes or 3 Sessions x 1.5 hours)

TRAINING $780 (PAYMENT TO SWIM SCHOOL)

• Introduction to swimming fundamental and four key swimming strokes.

• Guidance to prepare lesson plan, breakdown into the time and activities.

• General technique to teach kids and adults on how to swim

• Brush up on your swimming stroke mechanics

• Marketing, Branding, and Effective Communication with Parents and Students.

• Setting up your coaching fees, terms and conditions for swimming lesson. 

• This Training will prepare you for the next course/competency testing.

• During this course, we will guide you on how to source for students, we will refer students to you after obtained the swimming coach license (referral fees is payable). 

Half Day - One Day

CARDIOPULMONARY RESUSCITATION (CPR) ~$100 (PAYMENT TO COURSE PROVIDER)

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is a lifesaving technique useful in many emergencies, including a heart attack or near drowning, in which someone's breathing or heartbeat has stopped. The American Heart Association recommends that everyone — untrained bystanders and medical personnel alike — begin CPR with chest compressions.

2 sessions online Theory (ZOOM meeting)
2 session pool lessons

COURSE AND COMPETENCY ASSESSMENT ~$580 (PAYMENT TO THE COURSE PROVIDER)

It requires attendance at theory and practical training session over 16 hours (2-3 days). It also requires the completion of an online interactive component. Candidates are also required to complete supervised industry training in a swim teaching environment with a range of teaching conditions
Assessment of the candidate’s knowledge and skills.

2 - 6 Months

FINAL ASSESSMENT AND ATTACHMENT

Understudy to handle kids swimming lessons, observation and step by step guidance by our coaches.
